Professor of Applied Economics and Chair of the Scientific Advisory Group of the FAO GIAHS Programme.

Her presentation, “Governance and Resilience of Traditional Systems,” will open the day, laying the groundwork for understanding how governance policies can strengthen the capacity of GIAHS to address global challenges. Her extensive knowledge of the Huerta de Valencia and other GIAHS worldwide will be key to the discussions on resilience and adaptive governance.
